Extra support is here — with your consent.
Parents and caregivers, welcome to Soluna.
Soluna is a free, confidential mental health service built specifically for teens and young adults. If you’re here, your child has requested to use Soluna’s 1:1 counseling service and state privacy laws require your consent for them to continue.
If you’re new to Soluna, we’re sure you have questions. Let’s walk through them together.

What is Soluna?
Soluna is a free, confidential mental health service built specifically for teens and young adults. Our secure platform is available through web or mobile and is a place young people can:
- Explore their emotions
- Build resilience and coping skills
- Connect with licensed mental health professionals
Offered through trusted partnerships with schools, health systems, and community organizations, Soluna makes it easier for young people to get the support they need — at no cost to families.
Soluna is private, secure, and informed by over 20 years providing research-backed mental health support.

Why your approval was requested
Your child wants to access one-on-one counseling through Soluna. Before they can continue with one of our licensed counselors, your consent is required.
Most Soluna features — like journaling, mood tracking, and the peer-to-peer community forums — are available to users right away. Because counseling involves private conversations with a licensed professional, we need a parent or guardian to approve access to this feature.
How to provide or deny consent
As a next step, we’ll need to hear from you. Your child will not be granted access to this feature until we’ve received your consent.
✅ To approve consent
Respond “yes” to the email you recieved from parentalconsent@solunaapp.com along with your child’s unique ID
❌ To decline consent
Respond “no” to the email you recieved from parentalconsent@solunaapp.com along with your child’s unique ID
Rest assured, you can change your mind about your decision at any time. Just email us to revoke or reinstate access.
